Major Performance Upgrade¶
We’ve rebuilt our pathfinding engine by switching from NetworkX to igraph.
Performance Highlights¶
- Sub-10km routes: Generated in under 100ms
- Sub-5km routes: Generated in under 50ms
- Dramatically lower memory usage
What Changed¶
- Full migration from NetworkX to iGraph
- Optimised A* implementation and subgraph filtering logic
- Improved graph loading and implemented more secure coordinate parsing
